Alrighty then, you like to get dirty a bit! Welcome to the ADV routes page. This one is more of a work in progress and we will be adding more content as the routes can be ridden and verified. Gates close, Forestry Service gets wild burrs and wildfires so we will be a bit more diligent. We have also classified these a bit differently to match the various styles of terrain and route. This six loop route will take you on plenty Georgia's amazing forest service roads and some of the best paved twisties in the US of A. This is a full day ride suitable of all size ADV bikes. Most "off-road" sections are graded forest road however some sections are natural ground along with water crossings.

- Major Water Crossings - there are 2 on this route that consist of fast moving creeks, 12" to 30" in depth, depending on weather conditions. Both are marked with waypoints on the route.
- Patterson Gap Rd - single lane well graded gravel turns to rural 2 lane and transitions to Permission Rd
- Old Coleman River Rd- single lane, scattered gravel or natural surface, some ruts and standing water typical
- Charlies Creek Rd - single lane forest service road, loose gravel and larger washouts, some undulation midway up to the top at Indian Grave Gap
- Indian Grave Gap Rd - single lane, loose gravel or natural rock surface.
- Chattahoochee River Rd - single lane, well graded gravel or compact natural surface with minor rutting and standing water.

NGA FOREST TOUR

This six loop route will take you on plenty Georgia's amazing forest service roads and some of the best paved twisties in the USA. This is a full day ride suitable for all size ADV bikes with at least 50/50 tires. Most "off-road" sections are graded forest road however some sections are natural ground along with minor water crossings. This is a slightly more difficult modification of route A01.

- Major Water Crossings - there a few crossings but all should be under 12" depth, however, several holes on the trail could be impassable with a dry line and will required up to 24" crossings.
- Turkey Gap Rd- single lane, rock or natural surface, lots of 4x4 ruts and standing water is typical on most of the road. This section can be bypassed by continuing on Popcorn Road to US76 and picking the route back up north of the Popcorn overlook.
- Patterson Gap Rd - single lane well graded gravel turns to rural 2 lane and transitions to Permission Rd
- Tray Mountain Rd - single lane forest service road, loose gravel and larger washouts, some undulation midway up to the top at Indian Grave Gap
- Indian Grave Gap Rd - single lane, loose gravel or natural rock surface,
- Chattahoochee River Rd - single lane, well graded gravel or compact natural surface with minor rutting and standing water.

You get the holy trinity of GA, NC & SC with this route that takes you on portions of the South Carolina Adventure Route (SCAR) and around the Warwoman WMA. Numerous opportunities to stop for picture and sightseeing.

*Alternate dining can be found in Tellico Plains less than a mile past the Drive-in should you want something other than this choice. Try Tellico Grains Bakery, Peach Street Grill or La Loteria. Route can be re-joined easily from downtown Tellico.

This route gets you west to some beautiful East Tennessee forests and roads. Of course passing through Georgia and North Carolina, you just can't go wrong! You will visit the Chattahoochee-Oconee, Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests.

- Major Water Crossings - there a few crossings but all should be under 12" depth. However, the crossing of the Tallulah River at Charlies Creek Road (~mile 222) is a diagonal crossing of a ford in the river.
- Charlies Creek Rd- single lane, rock or natural surface, lots of 4x4 ruts and standing water is typical on most of the road.
- Tallula River Rd - single lane, mostly well graded gravel turns to rural 2 lane and transitions to Permission Rd
- Patterson Gap Rd - single lane well graded gravel turns to rural 2 lane and transitions to Permission Rd
- Joe Brown Hwy - rural 2 lane road deteriorates to single lane, relatively well graded gravel. Northern end gets rougher with more exposed rock/natural surface. A true gem!
- Davis Creek Rd - single lane, relatively well graded gravel. Multiple waterfalls along the creek are visible or reached just off the road.
- Bald River Rd - single lane, relatively well graded gravel.

This route is virtually entirely in North Carolina with lots of elevation gain (27,000 feet total). You will be exploring the ancient Nantahala National Forest along the many forest service and small (barely) paved single lanes. There is also a very healthy dose of technical paved sections including some of our ole reliables on Wolf Mountain.
