A long standing Southeastern tradition for the MSTA, we kick-off the riding season in style at the North Georgia Classic. This year, we will rally for 3 days out of one of our historical locations, a "Classic" spot...if you will. The quiet mountain town of Dillard, in beautiful Rabun County, will play host this year. We held this event in Dillard last year, as well as our famous Dual Sport gathering in year past, with great success and we look forward to returning.

This remains an MSTA JFF (just for fun) event with no fees or membership requirements. The mountains are calling, come ring in the new riding year with us!!

All participants will be responsible for making individual reservations under the group block. Payment will be made directly to the host venue. Rooms will be limited to 25 double rooms (or until they fill up the motel) and available for those who would like to travel in on Thursday night (4/25). The Inn is under relatively new management and is kept clean with the Owners living on the property. We look forward to returning to the Mountain Valley Inn.

This is an MSTA JFF (just for fun) event, there are no fees or costs associated with the rally other than your own expenses. As a JFF event, there are no formal dinners or club meetings. We will utilize the information provided with registration for communications about the event and as a gauge of how many folks we can expect for the informal events and rides. We also send out "Rally Updates" prior to the event to keep you in the loop. We look forward to seeing you in Georgia!

Although there are no "official" routes or rides for this JFF rally, we have curated and compiled some suggestions for your consideration. Routes are available for download in .GPX and .KMZ formats. We have included both standard and ADV routes. The page also contains some links to interesting stuff along the routes as well various suggested food stops. Ride the route, mix and match, or just head out in any direction from the rally HQ and you will find fantastic roads and scenery.

One great thing about rallies is meeting up with new and old friends to ride with. Most group rides at MSTA events stay small and typically fill up with likeminded riders. The club has developed a form, with some basic information, in an attempt to connect folks looking to lead, join a ride or just make a new riding buddy. With permission, this information will be printed and available at the venue. Anyone will be able to grab a photo of the list and easily connect. The list will also be available to the organizers prior to the rally and we will attempt to connect folks with ride leaders or small groups.

RALLY CHECK-IN (THURSDAY APRIL 26TH & FRIDAY APRIL 27TH)

Once you arrive at the rally site, we ask that you check-in (preferably come to the MSTA table in/near the lobby). If we are out riding or you come in late or off-hours when no one is around please look for one of the QR code signs around to scan and check-in really quickly, this will report automatically to our registration system. This will help us with communication during the event and keep some sense of how may folks we have out running around. Look for the MSTA GA Safety Quiz at the check-in table, turn in your quiz and you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE dinner Saturday night at the Dillard House!!

EVENTS FOR FRIDAY - APRIL 26TH

8am - 9:30 ish Group meetups and rides forming in the parking lot, most rides are gone by 9am.

All day Out riding :)!!

Dinner On Your Own. There are several restaurants withing reasonable walking distance from the Inn.

7:30ish Moto Rodeo. Bring ur balance for some SLOOOOW drag races and slalom races in the parking lot.

MSTA Buddy Bingo (this is a game that you can play as an ice breaker to get to know folks, cards will be onsite)

Evening Fellowship and Bench Racing, Story Swapping, etc.

8am - 9:30 ish Group meetups and rides forming in the parking lot, most rides are gone by 9am.

All day Out riding!!

Dinner Dillard House Group Dinner (you must have reservations made by noon on April 24th, see above).

EVENTS FOR SUNDAY - APRIL 28TH

Most folks use Sunday to "head home", but some locals hang around for a morning ride (or maybe longer). Safe travels!!
